CII R02 Exam: Investment Principles and Risk
The CII’s R02 is one of the core units of the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. It is a 2-hour multiple-choice exam with 100 questions and has a nominal pass mark of 65%.
The exam syllabus covers asset classes and investment products including characteristics, risks, behaviour, correlation and taxation consideration; the macro-economic environment and its effect upon asset classes; investment theories; time value of money; and investment performance and risk impact.
