CII R06 Exam: Financial Planning Practice
The CII’s R06 is one of the core units of the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. It is a 3-hour exam based on two case studies, which are released two weeks prior to the exam sitting, and has a nominal pass mark of 55%.
The exam syllabus covers gathering client information; understanding their aims, objectives and risk profile; conducting a fact-find; analysis of client data; producing a financial plan and justifying recommendations; monitoring client circumstances.
