CII R05 Exam: Financial Protection
The CII’s R05 is one of the core units of the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. It is a 1-hour multiple-choice exam with 50 questions and has a nominal pass mark of 70%.
The exam syllabus covers the need for financial protection including consumer attitudes and market trends; financial protection products and their interaction with State benefits; types and features of protection contracts; how protection products can be used to meet the needs of businesses and individuals.
