CII J12 Exam: Securities Advice and Dealing
The CII’s J12 exam forms a part of the Diploma in Financial Planning as well as the Certificate in Securities Advice and Dealing. It is a 2-hour multiple choice question paper consisting of 75 questions (60 standard format multiple choice questions, and 3 case studies with 5 standard format multiple choice questions in each), with a nominal pass mark of 65%.
The exam syllabus includes the features and risks of securities; the structure and features of the securities market; understanding clearing, settlement and custody principles; issues relevant to investment advice.
