CII R01 Exam: Financial Services, Regulation & Ethics
The CII’s R01 is one of the core units of the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. It is a 2-hour multiple-choice exam with 100 questions and has a nominal pass mark of 65%.
The exam syllabus covers the UK financial services industry and how it serves retail customers; the ‘regulatory’ framework and its application in dealing with the consumer, adviser skills and responsibilities; Code of Ethics; legal concepts relevant to financial advice.
