CII R06 Exam: Financial Planning Practice
The CII’s R06 exam forms part of the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. The exam is 3 hours and based on two case studies, which the candidates receive two weeks prior to the exam sitting. The nominal pass mark is 55%.
The exam syllabus covers the obtaining of client information and understanding of their aims, objectives and risk profile, the conducting of a fact-find, the analysis of client data, the formulation of a financial plan and the making of recommendations, and the monitoring of client circumstances.
