Why We’re Proud to Be Part of the New Talent Alliance Steering Group

At Brand Financial Training, we’re passionate about supporting the next generation of financial advisers—and that’s why we’re excited to be part of the steering group for the New Talent Alliance (NTA), a new initiative led by the Consumer Duty Alliance.

Why the NTA Matters
The financial advice sector is facing a growing challenge: adviser numbers are shrinking, and the pipeline of new talent isn’t growing fast enough to meet future demand. The NTA has been created to change that. It brings together key players from across the industry—training providers, academies, qualification bodies, and recruiters—to collaborate on building a stronger, more diverse, and more inclusive profession.
Our Role in the Steering Group
As a company that creates exam resources for financial professionals, we see first-hand the dedication and potential of those entering the industry. Joining the NTA steering group was a natural step for us. It gives us the opportunity to help shape strategies that not only attract new talent, but also support them throughout their careers.
We’re especially proud that our COO, Jennifer Dugdale, is part of the steering group. Her voice—and the voices of other women and underrepresented groups—are crucial in shaping a profession that reflects the diversity of the clients it serves.
What We’re Working Towards
Being part of the NTA is more than just a seat at the table. It’s about taking action. Together, we’re aiming to:
- Raise awareness of the varied and rewarding careers in financial services
- Promote integrity, professionalism, and inclusion within the advice sector
- Encourage more people—particularly those from diverse backgrounds—to consider financial advice as a career
- Build a sustainable future for the profession through collaboration and innovation
Looking Ahead
We believe that everyone should have access to high-quality financial advice—and that starts with supporting the people who provide it. Our involvement in the New Talent Alliance is just one way we’re investing in the future of the industry.
We’re excited about what’s ahead and look forward to working with our fellow steering group members to create real, lasting change.
