CII AF2 Exam: Business Financial Planning
The CII is withdrawing this unit. The last sitting will be in May 2021. There will be a re-sit opportunity in the second half of 2021 for candidates who previously failed. Please contact the CII directly for information.
The CII’s AF2 exam forms part of the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning. It is a 3-hour case study based exam with 3 compulsory questions and a nominal pass mark of 55%. The CII recommend 150 hours of study for this AF2 exam paper.
The AF2 exam syllabus covers the different legal forms of business; the impact of bankruptcy and insolvency; business accounts and controls; taxation in relation to business, owners and employees; legal responsibilities of businesses; business protection insurance; use of pensions in business planning.
