What is the purpose of this Certificate?
If you are looking to become a mortgage adviser then you need to achieve the CII Certificate in Mortgage Advice. This qualification is also useful for those working in a support role.
The level 3 certificate in mortgage advice covers the following areas : an introduction to the UK financial services industry; product types; process of giving advice; ethics, regulation and legislation; house-buying process; borrower types and their needs; mortgage products; repayment options; and giving mortgage advice.
If you are a CII member and a member of the Society of Mortgage Professionals (SMP), you can use the designation Cert CII (MP) after achieving the qualification.
What do I need to do to achieve this Certificate?
